- Exterior: The exterior shows clear signs of use, with noticeable paint wear on the barrel, there are no dings, dents, or deformation. The lens body feels very solid and tight.
- Glass/Optics: The glass is in excellent condition. There is no fungus, haze, separation, or scratches. As typical for a lens of its age, there is some minor internal dust visible only under a bright light, which has absolutely no effect on image quality, contrast, or flare resistance.
- Focus Ring: The focus is smooth and damped with a classic Leica feel
- Aperture Ring: the aperture ring clicks positively at every stop.
