Condition:

• Grading: Exc+
• Exterior: Shows normal signs of use, with light paint wear along the fluted focus and aperture rings, and a few small paint chips on the front rim. Overall, the body remains in very good condition for its age.
• Glass/Optics: The optical elements are in excellent shape—free from fungus, haze, separation, or scratches. A few tiny dust specks are present but only visible under bright light, and they do not affect image quality.
• Focus Ring: Smooth and well-damped.
• Aperture Ring: Clicks positively and cleanly at each full stop, with a firm and precise feel.

Introduced in 1976, the first-version Noctilux-M 50mm f1 (E58) is prized for its rarity and dreamy wide open character. At f1, it produces a distinctive glow, soft contrast, and swirling bokeh that gives images an artistic, painterly feel—making it as beloved for its flaws as its performance.
