- Exterior: cosmetically excellent showing light signs of wear, very clean for its age.
- Glass/Optics: As with many older lenses, there are some cleaning marks and minor dust within the optics. A trace of light haze has appeared in one lens group. In most lighting conditions, these have no visible effect on image quality. However, when shooting directly against a strong light source, flare or reduced contrast may be noticeable.
- Focus Ring: It operates smoothly across the entire range.
