  This Leica MP (0.72) in classic black paint is in superb, honest condition. The camera functions perfectly and presents with the beginning of a beautiful, user-earned patina.

  Exterior: The black paint remains deep and rich across the body, consistent with a very late serial number example. As shown in the photos, there is a fair amount of fine surface scratching on the top and bottom plates. On the high edges, the brass has just begun to show through the paint, giving this camera its unique and authentic character.

  Viewfinder: The 0.72x finder is super clean, offering a bright, brilliant, and clear view with accurate framelines.

  Function: The camera operates flawlessly. All shutter speeds (including the fully mechanical slow speeds), the film advance, the rangefinder, and the light meter are accurate and function exactly as intended.
